Today we scored big time on Bitty Baby items. We went to a huge neighborhood sale that happens twice a year near us. On our way we stopped a church sale and I saw a Magic Attic Club Rose doll lying in a big pile of stuffed animals. I went over and picked her up and underneath her was a Bitty Baby. I snatched up the Bitty and there was a second Bitty! Of course she got snatched up too! I also found a couple of gallon sized zip lock bags with clothing inside (mostly homemade) and I picked them up too. The dolls did not have any prices but I brought all three with me to the checkout. The men who were checking people out didn't know a price and asked me how much I wanted to pay. I started to name a price and they said "Oh, the stuffed animals are $1 a piece or 3 for $2, we'll just charge you $2". Wow, I was very excited! When we got out to our van I figured out that one of the Bitty's is actually an Our New Baby! They were all very dirty and have some head rubs but we are very excited to have them join our family. I don't think the Magic Attic doll will stay with us though as neither my DD or I care too much for her. She has some chewed fingers and has definatly been played with a lot. We'll have to see about her.

Well, that is not exactly the end of our Bitty Baby day. When we got to the actual neighborhood sale, at the first house we stopped at a young girl had a Bitty Baby, a Bitty crib and the bedding for sale for $15. Of course we had to buy it!

I guess it was definatly a 'Bitty' kind of day for my family! - Meg B.
